What are you looking at? I'm eating. Thus spake monkey
Assalamu aleikum,
Being busy and wishing to update, and having no time to set up a flickr account, and having few pictures I have comfortably resized, I leave you with this:

It is a Colobus monkey, a pic I took in Zanzibar. These guys are great, they really seem to say, "What YOU lookin' at?" Tsk tsk, the Original Gangstas. I have funnier pictures; for a later time inshaAllah.
Question: Why is this Halaal?
Answer: Allahu ya'lam, it is halaal because it is a direct representation of reality (it isn't a drawing), and I took the pic with a digital camera, thus it has no tangible representation (it does not cast a shadow -- unless you print it...so don't ;P).

Assalamu Alaikum sister,
I've been reading a few random posts in your blog, hope you don't mind.
Just wondering, can I please post what you wrote in your last entry on my own blog? I'll reference your blog if you like of course.

Colobus monkey hahahaha. Aww it's so cute. SubhanAllah man, His creations are just awesome and perfect.
Ya Sheikh, go study instead of posting pictures of monkeys!
ps: so when you go to Kenya, you really are in the WILD, eh. ;)
Waleikum assalaam Ema : )
Sure thing! I'm pleased someone has actually been reading my blog. I hope my posts have been of benefit, inshaAllah.
Other than you, my faithful reader asmhuss. And yes, I am perpetually in the wild, don't you know?
